About this Book:

The age at which children are having sex is getting younger with every decade. I have two daughters and like most parents, I am terrified that when they reach puberty they will make the wrong decisions concerning sex. Why Should I Stay a Virgin? has seven short stories which introduces the male and female teen reader to characters they can relate to, that suffer unfortunate consequences of having sex at a young age. The book provides light educational information on these consequences including, pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, and emotional feelings.

About the Author:

Vicki Stone lives in Texas with her husband and two daughters, ages twelve and seven. She has done numerous volunteer hours with the Junior League dealing with teens. Last year she went into the public schools and gave presentations to sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students about sexual harassment. She also volunteered at a teen shelter giving presentations on skills that would prepare teens to live on their own. For two years she led a Mom's group at her church leading discussions on parenting.
