The author was born in 1941 in the "Bootheel" of Missouri. After High School he attended College at Arkansas State University and Campbell University in North Carolina. He had an outstanding career in Aviation and Marine Insurance. He is a pilot with over 1000 hours in the air. In retirement he enjoys writing about his family and how they came to live in so many diverse areas of the country.
