About this Book:

TO THE LAST ORANGE POPPY is a collection of contemporary poems, mostly in free verse, but with delightfully subtle occasional rhymes. This is a collection of Phyllis Lee's best work as many of these poems won prizes at Ohio Poetry Day, Midwest Writers' Conference, and other important contests. There are 27 poems in the collection along with two haiku which open the two parts of the book. Sample titles include "The Teaching of Daughters," "Prodigal Sons," "When I Was in Love," and the title poem.

About the Author:

PHYLLIS LEE has won many awards for her poetry, and her most loved poems are included in this long overdue collection. Her work has appeared in The Writer, Black River Review, North Star Two, She (England) and numerous small press publications. Retired from her beloved teaching, Phyllis and her husband Richard live in Sebring, Ohio.
