My book tells of the adventures of three of my ancestors during the American Revolution. It takes place primarly in the South in 1780 and 1781 but some of their adventures are at Valley Forge during the winter of 1777-1778 and in the Philadelphia Campaign during 1778.

About the Author:

I was born and raised on a farm in Pemiscot County, Missouri. I attended college at Arkansas State University and Campbell Unversity in North Carolina earning my undergraduate degree there in 1963. I recently received my Masters Degree in History and am curently enrolled in a Doctoral program. This is my second book but my first novel. My first book was a familhy history.

The book is filled with exciting journeys during the war years as my family traveled from the backwoods of Virginia to the Carolinas. The Revolution is covered in some detail from the standpoint of a participant. Not a lot of battle scenes.
