About the Author:

Russell (Russ) W. Duggins was born on May 17, 1943 in a little town east of St. Louis, Mo. He attended E. W. Cullen Jr. High and Jesse H. Jones High Schools in Houston, Texas. After graduation from high School, in1962, he enlisted in the U. S. Navy and served his country as an Aviation Electrician until his transfer to the Fleet Reserve in May, 1984. Russ received his Honorable Discharge in 1994. It was during his Navy career that he did most of his writing. Which he says was just a need to express his feelings instead of holding them inside. Most, if not all, were written for his friends and family. He is now serving his community as a deacon in St. Joseph Parish in Beeville, Texas.
