Although Jack is a new comer to the life of a sailor he catches on quick and soon enough joins the ranks of the jacks aboard the tall three masted ship.
The plan was to leave New York, travel to South America, round the cape and into the Pacific Ocean. Then sail to the port of San Francisco were goods would be unloaded and new ones brought aboard for the long journey to China.
Its a long journey indeed with many adventures and pitfalls. Not to mention a girl named Maria

Book Review:
|
|
The "Sea Vixen is a great adventure story to read. You will feel like you are right there along with Jack as he climbs high above the deck to check the main sail or as he stands his watch alone at midnight. You will meet the grizzled sea veterans that sail along with Jack Larue and they will become your mates as well.
