About the Author:

Babette began writing feature stories while at the University of Florida for the St. Petersburg Times Sunday Magazine and later worked in Public Relations for the Florida Department of Agriculture. Putting together a career, she worked for CBS News, Atlanta; the Lakeland Ledger; and was a hospital P.R. director. She was honored to earn a scholarship to participate in a summer program at Harvard University.
