About this Book:

The book is a study of the Doctrine of Water Baptism in the New Testament Church. It reviews the examples of Water Baptism in the Old Testament and examines each instance of Water Baptism in the Book of Acts. The author does an insightful verse by verse exposition of Romans chapter 6 to discover the deep spiritual truths that are realized in the believer's life through the rite of Water Baptism. The book is well laid in an outline format with numerous tables and graphs to assist the reader in their understanding of this important sacrament.

About the Author:

Michael Chester commuted weekly for several years to Oakland, California for evening Bible courses at Shiloh Bible College. He eventually enrolled in Bible College full time and moved to Portland, Oregon where he spent four years at Portland Bible College and graduated with academic honors. While in college, he taught a men’s weekly Bible study for two and one-half years at the state’s correctional institution for men in Salem, Oregon (OSCI). Upon graduation, he moved back to Woodland to his home Church where he helped establish a local Bible college affiliated with Logos Bible College and Graduate School out of Florida. He became the academic dean of the college and taught Bible classes in the local church as well as at the college level. He received his second academic degree from Logos Bible College. His home church is The Mission, located in Vacaville, California.
