Michael Chester commuted weekly for several years to Oakland, California for evening Bible courses at Shiloh Bible College. He eventually enrolled in Bible College full time and moved to Portland, Oregon where he spent four years at Portland Bible College and graduated with academic honors. While in college, he taught a men’s weekly Bible study for two and one-half years at the state’s correctional institution for men in Salem, Oregon (OSCI).
Upon graduation, he moved back to Woodland to his home Church where he helped establish a local Bible college affiliated with Logos Bible College and Graduate School out of Florida. He became the academic dean of the college and taught Bible classes in the local church as well as at the college level. He received his second academic degree from Logos Bible College. His home church is The Mission, located in Vacaville, California.
