The book is about a document Paul Parsons wrote detailing the need for national revival and allowing for those of like mind to sign the document and make a serious commitment to its principles. The document is called "The Declaration of Dependence." Unlike the Declaration of Independence, the enemy here is Satan, and to sign the document is to agree to follow the principles of II Chronicles 7:14.
The first half is a fictional look at a week in the life of a pastor in the year 2026, if America doesn't have national revival. The second half is how that revival can and will come.
