About this Book:

Hidden deep in a Colorado mountainside, the International Peacekeeping Force faces its toughest assignment ever: to remove the alien missile that has knocked one of the Earth’s three crystal fields out of balance. With the guidance of their beloved but possibly whacko leader General Charles Bradford, the help of a crack team of 29-inch-tall extraterrestrials, some tricky maneuvers by an ace pilot who died 20 years ago, and cameo appearances by Walwin the Soldier God (Bradford in a previous incarnation), the IPK team finds a way to open the door in the floor of the Atlantic Ocean under the Bermuda Triangle, battle the monstrous Jel-Kels that came in on the alien missile, and set the toppled crystal back in place.

About the Author:

Walter J. Drummond recently passed away after a long battle with lung disease. After a simple lifetime as a farmer, in retirement he started writing down his memories of a past life two millions years ago. Though he had never written anything before, the story just seemed to flow from his consciousness. He wrote free-hand, filling hundreds of tablets. This man who had never watched much television, rarely went to a movie, and never read anything beyond farming magazines created a 1200-page science fiction world full of incredible detail and New Age mysticism. At one point he paused to write The Crystal Fields, a separate, more defined work with many of the same characters as his larger work. He left the manuscript to his family and asked that it be published after his death.

Book Review:

Editorial reviewer: “This book blew me away. Every time I thought I had it figured out, it took another turn. I knew Mr. Drummond and I can tell you first-hand that he was a simple farmer with zero interest in anything to do with science fiction. I’m astounded that he found this voice late in life and was able to record so much before he passed away. I say ‘record’ because I really believe much of his writing was a stream-of-consciousness remembrance rather than consciously created fiction. In any case, The Crystal Fields is astounding.”
