Smoky wandered onto a high school campus. It was July, the begining of a new semester in Phoenix, Arizona.
The dog was either lost or abandoned, left to fend for itself. Over the course of a few days, as it migrates closer to the school grounds, it becomes apparent this dog is dirty, tired and hungry.
A relationship slowly develops between a group of lady school bus drivers and the little dog. Over months of give and take, many challenges take place between the lady bus drivers and the little dog with both sides struggling to establish trust between them on their own terms.
