About the Author:

William S. Dorn is professor emeritus of mathematics at the University of Denver. He has been a follower of Sherlock Holmes for 60 years and was elected to membership as "The Newgate Calendar" in The Baker Street Irregulars in 1999. He has produced annual calendars of the great detective every year since 1997.

Book Review:

This calendar chronicles the events of the 60 cases of Sherlock Holmes as written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It includes such events as "January 6: Sherlock Holmes celebrates his 150th birthday" and "October 19: Holmes shot and killed the Hound of the Baskervilles". It is the most thorough and precise chronology of Mr. Holmes' adventures available. A useful addendum is an alphabetical listing of all 60 cases at the back of the calendar.
