About this Book:

How do Christians interpret the Book of Revelation? How do non-Christians interpret the book? What are some of the "strange" ways some people interpret the book? This book offers some answers. Also included are many Christian denominations views on the book as well as a brief history of the denomination. The symbols are listed at the end of the book and then interpreted by the four general schools prevelent today in interpreting Revelation.

About the Author:

Sam McCall has been a Sunday School teacher in the United Methodist Church for over 24 years. He has taught many Bible studies, including The Purpose Driven Life and the Disciple Study series, 1-4. He has held numerous committees within the Church. This book came about through a 4 month Sunday School study on the Book of Revelation.

Book Review:

Why are there different ways to interpret the Book of Revlelation? What did the early Church fathers say? What do modern scholars say? Why have some people used the book to further their own agenda? This book explores these and other questions. The entire text of Revelation is included along with, in most cases, a verse by verse interpretation. The New King James Version is used. The verses are interpreted as to the idealist, historicist, futurist, and preterist views. Some denominational views are included, as well as Catholics and Mormons. Some strange views are mentioned also, including UFO's and other unorthodox views.
