This is a book about the effects of prayer. It is not a book about religion. The author shares her positive experiences and results of prayer as well as those of many other people. There are also Biblical references to detail the various discussions and also many accounts from the medical profession. The various anecdotes from physicians who have tested prayer and meditation are overwhelming. The author also shares the differences and similarities of meditation and prayer as well as the various types of prayer. It is her opinion that prayer does work however, she does not recommend discontinuing one's medication, taking vitamins, having physical exams, or interacting with the medical profession.

Author of several poetry books and nonfictional books entitled "Recognizing Abuse: Reclaiming Your Birthright," and ""Recognizing Child Abuse and Domestic Violence. (1998, 2nd editions 2002). They teach one how to recognize the signals of abuse and how to overcome.
The author has a B.S. in Management from University of San Francisco with a two-year certificate in nonfictional writing from NRI School of Writing, Washington, D.C.

The book is very touching and quotes Biblical accounts according to the Bible regarding praying and the miracles that many people have received by praying and meditating.
