About this Book:

This issue of Possibilities is all about moving through life with a combination of love and the courage of our convictions. With this combination, we can improve our lives and the world around us. We move forward from the deaths of loved ones, the lessons of childhood, the disappointments of love, the evil actions of others, the challenges of sports, and the changes in society. We do all this in the light of love and with a modicum of humor that moves us through the challenges. We grow and thrive as we lift ourselves up. Presented in the form of short stories, essays, poems, letters, and memoirs, punctuated with original art and photography, the DuPage Writers Group of Illinois presents its journal, Possibilities, a literary celebration.

DuPage Writers Group is a vibrant non-for-profit writing group which meets monthly to help nurture the potential of writers at all levels. We are dedicated to encouraging the creative voice in each person that brings out the positive spirit producing edifying writing for sharing with others. We are also a publishing company which publishes an annual journal named Possibilities.
