About this Book:

The subtitle is: A Compilation of recipes, tips and tales. This book started out as a collection of often requested recipes from family and friends. Personal tidbits accompany some of the recipes and unique tips and entertaining ideas are included. More than 250 recipes are included in this collection.

About the Author:

Now a great grandmother, Mary Lou Hill began cooking as early as age four when she was but a coal miner's daughter in the hills of Appalachia. An avid cook and entertainer, she has experience as a caterer, cake decorator and activities director. She lives in Athens AL with her husband of 43 years, Bob, and their Schnauzer Earnhardt. They are the parents of two children, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She has written several books for her family but this is her first attempt to publish one of her works.

Book Review:

This collection contains a unique array of the tried and true and also new and original recipes. Personal anecdotes are shared about a number of them and there is a variety of tips included in this very personal collection.
