This book is filled with positive affirmations for children, but adutls can appreciate them as well. There are colorful graphics that fit the affirmations on each page. The character and her friend give some advice on what to do when you're stressed, how to mind your manners at the dinner table and even a meditative poem. The children can also write their own affirmation for each day of the week or each month. This book is great as a companion book for teaching children about being kind, and assist in helping them build their since of spirituality. Sunday School teachers, or Christian school teachers will love it!

Mona L. Scott is an Expressive Arts Therapist. She wanted to write books for children to tell their story as they see life. She has been a therapist, counselor, dance instructor and crafter for over 4o years. She has been a storyteller for her churches Sunday School for the past three years. This is her second book in the Sunrae & friends book series. Her first book is called "Nappy Sunrae Crown". Sunrae shares what she learned about her African American Heritage as it related to her hair texture. Ms. Scott is a native New Yorker, but currently lives in the Metro Atlanta, GA area. She looks forward to sharing her stories with children around the world.
