About this Book:

At the end of July 2007, it became obvious that my parents, Douglas and Edna, needed help with their daily routine. I compared mine and the situations of my siblings, and it occurred to me rather quickly that I would be the most likely, Asacrificial lamb. I decided that I'd move back in with them and do what I could do to help. They had no idea... So now, almost one year into the big change, we are all surviving. There have been a number of life lessons along the way. Here is a glimpse of what weve shared.

About the Author:

Scott Heffernan has been a member of the Key Peninsula Writers’ Guild since it’s inception. His short stories and poetry have appeared in numerous anthologies published by the group. He currently lives south of Seattle Washington in his childhood home, where he is the primary care giver for his aging parents and is able to sneak off to the basement and write in his spare time.
