About this Book:

Canton is one of only a handfull of Mississippi cities with an intact nineteenth century streetscape surrounding all four sides of a central 1852 Greek Revival Courthouse. This uniqueness is accentuated with numerous restored Antebellum and nineteenth century homes within walking distance of the square. The local townsfolk are friendly and generous: Southerners to the core.

About the Author:

Susan Austin Coulange is married to her photographer, Henrie. She has two grown childern, Rebecca and Dan, who live in Washinton State. Susan and Henrie are "newcomers" to Canton (anyone who has lived in Canton less than 100 years) having relocated following Hurricane Katrina's devastation to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
