While the two authors' creative style differs, the poetry in this book evokes a deep understanding of the beauty and history of Ireland. Christopher draws vivid pictures with his use of espressive words, while Arlene tells stories of soldiers and fishermen, along with a touch of faeries and leprechauns. Pairing scenic pictures, taken by both, with their original poetry makes for stimulating reading pleasure.
