About this Book:

The man on the Quaker Oats box is smiling. Ever wonder why? A retired Quaker pastor thinks he knows. He offers both humor and inspiration in this delightful collection of true stories. Some are about his most embarrassing moments, and others are about the great people he has known. Sometimes the humor will bring a delightful chuckle, and at othertimes it is side-splitting. Not all of the stories are humorous for some are movingly poignant and thoughtful. All are uplifting and inspiring.

About the Author:

W. R. Frye, a Quaker pastor for almost forty years, now lives in Winston-Salem, NC with his wife, Agnes Jones Frye. They both teach part-time at Forsyth Technical Community College. They have three children, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
