Dan Tanner was born and raised in Hamlet, Richmond County, North Carolina in1945. After spending time in Thailand as an Army 1st lt. in the late 60th's, returned home to spend over thirty years as a truck driver. While over-the-road, Dan has writen many poems and songs and has another book about ready to publish. While still working for a local trucking company, Dan is very active in church and writes sermonds for sunday school.
