I just want to say how much I enjoyed reading the weekly episodes of “Close Calls On The Farm.” Having grown up on a farm in Michigan in roughly the same time period, I can really relate to the stories. I love the writing style of Mr. Weddon, often enjoying his graphic and humorous style of description as much or even more than the story itself! I am amazed at the details he can remember! I would classify these writings right up there with Laura Ingalls Wilder’s “Little House on the Prairie” series. Mr. Weddon gives us a delightful image of what life was like on the farm in that time period.
