About this Book:

Jan has suddenly been face with making two very tough decisions -- to tell her boss about a colleague who is altering orders and making dangerous decisions that could seriously affect patient welfare and safety and two -- to leave a husband who has become abusive to her and the children. She needs to do this to secure their safety and well being. The only obvious move for her is to a town about 250 miles away in Massachusetts.

About the Author:

Kathleen Geesey is a teacher in the Oxford Area School District. She has previously written a novel series she calls her Lucy series, focusing on teen issues of bullying, dating safely, and school violence. She has also published an adult novel, Seasons, which takes place in the quaint seashore resort town, Cape May, NJ.
