About this Book:

Alone, a single horsedrawn wagon leaves Texas with a family of four and heads to Arizona. Written by the courageous woman that drove the team along the 1200 mile trail and lived in the wagon for almost two years. This is the story of hardship, victory, tribulations and triumphs in the seemingly endless walk west. Along the trail they encountered duststorms, hunger, thirst, torentially rains, hail, and a variety of characters only the West could conjure up. Sit alongside the author on the seat of the big red wagon and hold on to your hat. It's going to be a bumpy ride! The Buffalo Chips and Co. wagon is ready to roll!

A Christian woman that stands on the Rock of her faith, knowing that there is that One that would never leave nor forsake her.

Book Review:

A wagon trip west. What could be more exciting! Its alot harder than Hollywood would have you believe. This story is about an actual trip made by a family of four that traveled over 1200 miles in a horsedrawn wagon. The year was 1983. Living like pioneers for the next 18 months, the family experienced what it may have been like for the pioneers of the old west. This was not a financed expedition. They left with $36 of borrowed money. Washing clothes on scrubboard, cooking on a coleman stove, no electricity or running water. True modern day pioneers.
