Linda suffered a massive stroke in 1972. Ending her career as a singer and dancer. She toured Europe and the Iron Curtain Countries as a Goodwill Ambassador with The Singing San Diegan’s in 1969.
She completed the Master’s of counseling program in 1970 at San Diego State University. Her mentors have been Fritz Perls and Allen Watts. Under their tutelage she co-facilitated many seminars.
She served as a counselor to stroke and head trauma victims in various hospitals and convalescent centers through the eighties. Early in this work her patients at the Crisis House in El Cajon, California nicknamed her “Sunshine.” Since then, she has been “Sunshine” to all.
