As a child, Ginger Shinn would travel from Miami to Maggie Valley, N.C. each year for vacation. She cherished the hiking, cookouts, bonfires, square dancing and scenic drives through the Great Smoky Mountains. Years later, Ginger, her husband Bud and their children would continue the yearly visits to Maggie Valley and Smokey Shadows until one day they decided to make the lodge their permanent home. Now, the Shinn family dedicate their lives to creating those same cherished memories for all who visit Smokey Shadows Lodge.
