About this Book:
A story told in poetic fashion of the author's journey through many years of illness. It is a story of God's faithfulness and how He can use us, not in spite of, but because of our limitations. Read about the prison ministry that Lisa Williams began during the many years that she was homebound. You may laugh a little and cry some also, but mostly you will be encouraged and inspired.

About the Author:

Lisa Williams was born in Oak Ridge, TN, although Nashville has been her home for most of her life. She has been homebound for many years, but doesn't let her illness interfere with her walk with the Lord. In fact, her disability has drawn her closer to God and opened the door for her ministry. In 1999 she began corresponding with female inmates across the country to encourage them in the Lord. Her ministry later became known as Joy for the Journey.
