Thomas E. Osborne is a retired Baltimore Sun journalist. He is a 36-year veteran of the newspaper business. An avid Civil War buff, after his retirement he worked eight years at the Gettysburg National Military Park Visitor Center as a visitor services specialist. Putting his great-grandfather's wartime experiences into print has been a long-time goal, and now you can share in this remarkable story.
