The relationship of the sexes in the church has long been debated and many books have been written on the subject. So why another book? The answer is that the issue is deeply ingrained in who we are as human beings and as long as there are thoughtful people striving to understand this wonderful subject, there will be ongoing discussion.
The author presents the involvement of men and women in the church as an exquisite and dramatic portrayal of great truths about our Lord and His creation. A proper biblical understanding of the sexes leads us to celebrate the differences—not to be embarrassed by or fearful of them. As men and women discover God’s wonderful variety in their lives and ministry together, the Lord will be glorified, for we all grow in our understanding of Him and His magnificent creation.
The reader is invited to think deeply and biblically, in the same way for which the Bereans in Scripture were commended:
Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. (Acts 17:11)

Chuck Gianotti is married and has two grown children. He holds a Th.M. from Dallas Seminary and has served the Lord in fulltime ministry in a variety of local churches in the US and Canada, in camp ministries and at Kawartha Lakes Bible School in Canada as adjunct instructor. He is founder and editor of Elders' ShopNotes, a bi-monthly ministry letter to elders in North and South America as well as overseas.
