The story of Methodism in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Heber Springs was founded in 1881 (then named Sugar Loaf), and soon two Methodist congregations were formed. The Methodist Episcopal (M. E.) and the M. E. South each built their first building before 1888. The two denominations merged in 1939 but the Heber Springs congregations did not merge until 1949. The book contains an illustrated history of the church and activities plus a number of tables with lists of pastors, staff, enrollment figures and other information.
