About the Author:

Dr. Ingrid N. Mitchell has over 15 years of education experience. With a genuine passion for the industry to progress at-risk students, she has served in the roles of intermediate teacher, instructional coach, Title 1 supervisor, guest presenter at the University of Memphis, and intern principal. Ms. Mitchell has also had a host of elected positions within education organizations. She has mastered unique techniques that effectively advanced and supported school sites, students, parents, stakeholders and other active participants. In Dr. Mitchell's free time, she loves being an active volunteer in the Memphis area, writes a series of publications that aid in fostering an environment of growth for children/students: children’s books & peer-reviewed journal articles, and tutors in her home to neighborhood students.
