About this Book:

A collection of short stories, illustrated in self-portraits, about the trials and tribulations of being a young woman in contemporary society. It is geared towards women, [16-23] and almost breaches upon the Young Adult genre, but is so honest, emotionally charged and graphic, that it remains as it is. "A goddess of something..." is meant to help people look within themselves, reflect upon what they see, and ultimately embrace and be happy with their own bodies and lives.

About the Author:

Elizabeth Halvorsen is a twenty-two year old resident of the Philadelphia area, with a BFA in photography from the University of the Arts. She was a student of Elise Juska's [author of "Getting Over Jack Wagner"] and writes for the music review website www.mxdwn.com.
