This is a story about a little girl named Betsy, whose mom was brutally murdered by a stranger and a year later she lost her dad in a terrible car accident. She was then moved to an orphanage where she met a beautiful girl, Tracy, who became one of her best friend. She was later adopted by foster parents and then moved to England where she spent most of her youth. After coming back to America she was married and had a beautiful daughter, Adele, who then went to Harvard to become one of the best lawyers in the country. The stranger, who killed Betsy’s mom, didn’t stop there, but now he wanted to kill Adele and her best friend Tracy…It is a story about courage, survival, friendship, and love.

Anika Qureshi is a ten-year-old girl who lives in Novi, Michigan with her parents and a little sister, Almira. She loves to sing, read, and write poetry. Her sports activities are tennis, figure skating, and swimming.
