About the Author:

Mosie Lister was born in 1921 in rural south Georgia. He is best known as the creator of the incomparable sound of the original Statesmen gospel quartet. Lister has written hundreds of songs, among the best known are "Til the Storm Passes By, How Long Has It Been, His Hand in Mine, Where No One Stands Alone, Feelin' Mighty Fine, Still Feelin' Fine, and Goodby, World, Goodby.
