As a Chiropractor I have been asked countless times “are there any exercises I can do to help myself?” This was followed by statements like: “I don’t like to work out; I would if it is easy, can be done quickly, doesn’t hurt, and doesn’t require special equipment or spending more money every week or month. This question in part inspired this book.
To be perfectly honest I was one of the people with an excuse and I knew better. So you could say these exercises were also inspired by self-preservation. Having lost 50 pounds of unwanted and unneeded weight on the Take Shape for Life program and not wanting it to return this was something I could incorporate daily anywhere, anytime. My schedule doesn’t always allow me to get to the gym or even use the treadmill in the basement so this was born.
