About this Book:

Mark’s roommates deserted him at the Mansion. The loss of his job caused him to drop out of college. The attention Mark’s new date received from strangers puzzled him. An advertisement featuring Audrey Hepburn’s new movie solved the mystery. Mark alerted the media that Miss Hepburn would be attending a sneak preview. The popping flashbulbs and the Press both thrilled and surprised Fay. That began a wild ride for Mark. Back at college, Mark moved into a house with a cast of characters. One got them free beer. Another fell into Hell and return unscathed. The musician entertained them. The leprechaun lived on beer alone. The condescending loner got them into trouble constantly. The logic major defied logic and put them “in the dark” by gambling away their utility money. Is it any wonder the place was called The Dirty Double? Mark got a Full Ride Scholarship by working at a fancy supper club which allowed him to drink and eat free.

About the Author:

Mark A Kelly has received wide acclaim for the universal appeal of his memoirs. He writes about the characters he meets. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he spent World War II living on a small farm with no toilets or running water. After high school in the big city he served in the Navy during the Korean War aboard a destroyer, the John W Weeks DD 701. Uncle Sam afforded him a cruise around the world. Graduating form the University of Dayton, he marred his college sweetheart, Donna DeVoe, and helps raise four children while managing two careers – engineering and finance. He thanks the people who helped him succeed – his family and friends.

I have read The Dirty Double and all your other books.” Art Holan, Mentor, Ohio “My 83 year 'young' Father and I enjoyed The Urchins and The Barons, your memories of life in the '40's-50's. Now we would like to read The Warriors.” Patrick Pelletier, Harrison Twp, Michigan “I took Mark Kelly’s book with me on my tour of Europe. I was torn between reading the books and seeing the next site.” Barbara Brittingham, Shelby Twp, Michigan
