An illustrated catalog reference of National Commemorative medals struck by the United States Mint. These medals are effectively replacements for the missing commemorative coins of the 1954 to 1982 era. Many are quite rare and quite collectible. This reference has been compiled to provide collectors with one source of information, which is difficult to locate, being the US Mint does not keep thorough records on the modern mint medal strikings. Many years were used compiling this information for the numismatic arena.
