Boys raised in fatherless homes are stigmatized and bear the myriad burdens society imposes on them. They are challenged with adversity that often includes drug and alcohol abuse, delinquency, mental instability, the prison system, and suicide. Yet today many overcome these obstacles and go on to lead successful lives. These stories you do not often hear.
This book narrates the reality of men young and old telling how they dealt with life growing up in fatherless homes. It further discusses several stories of fathers each telling his story of not raising his son. As time passes, these fathers deal with the challenge of wondering whether or not a bond is possible between them and their reconciled sons.
