About this Book:

Imagine going back in time when steamer trunks and dome top trunks were used for travel. As years went on, people passed these treasures down to the next generation. They were mostly preserved by being stored in basements or attics. However, most people would never consider bringing them into their home for everyday use. With the musty smells and beginings of rust, a restoration project is born. This book will guide you through every step of restoration, from outside to finishing off the inside. A restored trunk will proudly stand out in any room, ready for new memories to be made and passed down to the next generation.

About the Author:

My love of antiques began back in the 1980's. One trunk restoration was all it took to get me hooked. Over the years I have also restored and refinished a fireplace mantel, chairs, desks, tables, floors, bathroom vanity and too many other pieces to mention. Some other things I have a passion for are conquering a marathon in all 50 states, coaching runners and practicing massage therapy as a nationally certified therapist.
