About this Book:

Forever Friends is the first book in the Jesus Freaks series, a series dealing with contemporary issues written specifically for a young adult audience. In this first book, six Indiana teenagers face persecution because of their faith in God, persecution which results in a tragic school shooting. Through this personal tragedy, the teens learn how to love their enemies, how to forgive, and how to be a light in a lost and dying world.

About the Author:

Sherry Furnish teaches seventh-grade English at Oak Hill Junior High School; this is her seventeenth year as a language arts teacher for the school system. She is also a devoted wife and mother of three daughters, each member of her family serving as an inspiration for the characters in the Jesus Freaks series. Forever Friends is her first published novel; she plans to publish five more to complete the series.
