This is a vegan cookbook featuring 183 recipes that range from the common to the unusual and from salads to soy sauce. I have developed many of the recipes myself and have tried them all. The book also includes a section on bean preparation, bean nutrition, and some on the history of beans.
All proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to Compassion International, a Christian charity organization that cares for children.

This book was a labor of love that grew out of my passion for growing and preparing food. From the variety of styles in the cookbook you might guess that I have lived in various places. As a Navy brat I did indeed spend 6 years in Japan. And as an adult I have spent some time in China, the Philippines, Mexico, and Finland. I think the things I enjoy most about traveling are the people and the food. Of course it's always wonderful to come home to Minnesota.
