Ed Back is a retired Computer Systems Engineer and author of an award winning gardening and country living column entitled "From thee Back Acres". His wife Sandra has spent her professional career as a Banking Manager and as a Section 8 Director of a local Housing Authority.
They each spend most of their leisure time in pursuit of their gardening hobbies on their five acres with a 'mobe', while Sandra also enjoys reading and painting, and Ed loves writing and solving puzzles,
They have two grown children, Bryan and Heather, and three grandchildren, Morgan, Donovan, and Jamie, who live back east in the Philadelphia area.
