"Born Under An African Sun" spans forty seven years of living in Africa. Peaceful, halcyon years that slowly degenerated into political upheavel, war and corruption. Life played out on the colorful canvas that is Africa against a backdrop of spectacular dawns and sunsets, breathtaking scenery and an abundance of wild animals in their natural habitat, and the charm and freedom of a time lost forever.

Book Review:
"So beautifully described you can smell and taste the splendor of Africa's majestic scenery. The determination and resilience of a woman through the joys and tragedies of life in a country whose political turmoil is unforgiving to those in positions of power. How the strength of character of a child, a young woman, a lover and a mother bring her to get back on her feet and continue to forge ahead despite obstacles that would bring many to their knees in defeat."Born Under An African Sun" will leave you wanting to know Mellie personally and to have her love for her family, her country and life permeate your soul.
Lynda Lynton is a master storyteller that leaves you begging for more.
