The motivation in writing this book is directed towards you, the high school senior as well as young adults who find themselves in need of a little additional guidance on some very important subjects that oft times are not covered in high school curriculum to much degree.
Thirty years in the financial services industry has given me the opportunity to visit with many young men and women, like you, who have found themselves in financial difficulties that might have been avoided had they studied the topics discussed in this book.
I have kept the chapters short and to the point. Much more could be written on each subject and I invite the reader to investigate those topics of individual interest. I leave it up to the reader to draw their own conclusions with each chapter. Some content is my opinion, “everyone has one.”
My goal is to lay some groundwork that may help someone avoid looking back and saying “I should have”. The saying “hindsight is 20/20” still holds true. May you find the chapters helpful, stimulating, and I wish you the best in your continuing education and personal goals for a happy and successful life.
