This recovery did not include the largest federal grant in the state of its type, over $230,000, spearheaded with another nonprofit for public transportation. Through partnerships, a $50K foundation grant secured two vital nonprofit counseling services for four cities.

About the Author:

Jeanette North revitalized a charity moving funds to over $200K in 22 months. Under her leadership, United Way funding was increased 176% in 2008. As the Chairwoman for Neighbor For Neighbor’s NeighborFest ’05, she volunteered approximately 700 hours and coordinated a parade, festival and concert. Jeanette founded NorthStar Productions, LLC and designed “Ultimate Spa Day”, “Designer Teen Camp”, and others. She has networked with Godiva Chocolatier, Lancome Paris Cosmetics, Dillards, Linda Layman Modeling Agency, Fox 23, Radio Disney, and many others. This “Water Heater Queen” produced 697 leads and 150 sales in six weeks! She earned a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Roger’s State University.
