About this Book:

When, in the summer of 1831, Amelia Pendergast arrives at the little Oakland Inn, near Mansfield, Ohio, she wonders what could be more different than the modern Boston home she just left. Will her time with Autumn and the Zeiters family allow her to blossom in the Buckeye State? This is the premier episode in the Richland Chronicles, spotlighting pre-teens in frontier Ohio, written at intermediate reading level. Used locally in 4th grade classrooms.

About the Author:

Paul Lintern is a journalist, pastor, storyteller, songwriter, school assembly presenter and entrepreneur, living in Mansfield and creator of several historical reenactment events and author of historical fiction and Christian fiction, all with accuracy, humor and education as core elements.
