The Miracle of Me is about a baby’s growth and development in the womb. Like Dr. Seuss’ Oh, the Places You’ll Go!, it is relevant to a variety of audiences. While it's simple enough for children, it’s enlightening to expecting parents as well.
Written from the unborn child’s perspective, it gives the little one a voice. Using simple language and poetry, it features a week-by-week account of how the baby grows and develops. The reader is not aware of the child's gender. The baby, however, recognizes that he or she is one of God’s special creations. Rulers and scales visually mark the baby's progress. The most compelling part of the book, however, is the use of real in-utero photography instead of illustrations.
