About this Book:
Through a chance encounter with a scary old man, ten year old Katie Brush uncovers secrets about her family. She learns of the evil of the Holocaust from the old man and the impact of that horrible knowledge leads her down a frightening path of self denial. She fears that since the Holocaust happened in Germany it could just as easily happen here in America.
Katie's parents are of different faiths and she doesn't want to hurt either of them by choosing the other's religion. But she has to make a decision, doesn't she?
