The three authors come from various backgrounds. Kynika Chastine is graduate of Michigan State University and is currently working in Corporate America. She loves to write and gets her inspiration from lifes experiences in the urban community. Tifani Lyons is currently a student at Columbia Chicago and is interested in Public Relations and Acting. She is very passionate about life and the struggles in the urban community. Yukialove is a working single mother who sings, writes and acts. She is motivated by her desire to set and achieve her life goals to be an entertainer and a good parent.
